What We Do
God's Church spans the globe and connects disciples in spite of political boundaries. Sharing the disciple’s life with our international brothers and sisters helps us better understand what it means to follow Christ, and together we can respond to the brokenness that we find both inside and around us. Our history of long-term mission partnerships, as well as participation in the Baptist World Alliance and its regional fellowships, enable us to facilitate meaningful connections with faith communities in many countries and cultures.
Mutually transformative, long-term relationships are foundational to our attitude toward ministry. We would like to see every local church collaborating with an international partner in their ministry efforts. We believe that sharing spiritual and physical resources helps all of us to discover and more fully respond to God's call to specific mission in our respective communities.
Currently our international ministry partnerships are concentrated around global concerns.
focus:refugees
focus:refugees provides assistance to people displaced by conflict and famine.
focus:poverty
When characterizing his followers in the Parable of the Sheep and Goats (Matthew 25), Jesus says, "I was hungry and you fed me." Alleviating hunger and other issues related to poverty is part of our identity and calling as Believers. Beyond combating head-on the symptoms of poverty, however, we want to help our mission partners in a way that they develop their capacity to provide for their own communities.
