Introduction by Director Pastor Ronel Mesidor:
This morning, I received this letter of appreciation from a child who grew up in the center and has now completed his/her secondary education.
While I am deeply touched by these words of gratitude, I believe that I deserve them only in part because my role was simply to administer the center. This letter truly belongs to all of our supporters and partners, because without your generosity, commitment, and faithful support, the center would never have been able to fulfill this noble mission.
Every success achieved by these children is the result of a collective effort. Your contributions have provided them with education, guidance, care, and hope for a better future. Through your support, lives have been transformed, opportunities have been created, and dreams have become possible.
Therefore, I would like to share with you the original letter, along with its English translation, as a testimony of the impact that your support continues to have on the lives of the children we serve.
Thank you for making this mission possible and for investing in the future of these young people.
With sincere appreciation and gratitude,
Pastor Ronel Mesidor
CSL Administrator
Bonjour monsieur pasteur Ronel Mésidor/Dear Pastor Ronel Mesidor,
It is with a deep sense of joy, appreciation, and gratitude that I write these words from my heart to express my sincere thanks to you.
I do not know what words to use or in what language I should say it, but what I do know is that “thank you” is far too small an expression for everything you have done for me, for my life, and for the person I have become today.
From December 31, 2014, to February 25, 2025—a total of ten years and two months—you took care of me and ensured my education from 2nd AF through NS3. I can truly say that it is thanks to you that I am able to read well and that I received a good education. Had you not accepted me into the orphanage, I can honestly say that I would not have had the opportunity to continue my studies, because my family lacked the financial means to support my education.
I would like to thank you for all your advice, for the principles you instilled in us, for every correction, and for your words—sometimes firm and piercing—which were always spoken for our good and because you loved us. You worked tirelessly to educate us, to teach us how to live honorably in society, and to help us build strong character so that we could earn the respect of others.
Although many did not fully appreciate or apply those lessons, they are what shaped me into the person—and perhaps more accurately, the young woman—I am today: someone who values morality and strives to live by it; someone who remains firm in the face of dishonest proposals and ill-intentioned benefactors who always expect something in return.
Thank you very much for all the moral values you taught us, enabling us to walk with confidence and dignity wherever we go. Thank you also for introducing us to the Gospel, one of the most important gifts of all, even greater than education itself. I thank you and your entire team, who supported you in guiding us through their advice, teachings, and life experiences.
I want you to know that, were it not for you and your team—including Mrs. Dauthie—and above all for Almighty God, who planned everything in this way, I would never be the person I am today. For that reason, I will be forever grateful to you, and even more so to God, who ordained it all according to His perfect will. Therefore, “thank you” remains far too small and too simple, no matter the language, to adequately reward everything you have done for me.
You have been, and will always remain, a father to us because you considered us your own children and protected us as such. There is a saying that goes, “Education is the key to success.” Since you gave us that key by granting us access to education, if we do not succeed in life, you could never be held responsible, because you have already given us the most important things: the key to education and, above all, Jesus Christ.
Thank you, thank you, thank you. Thank you. Gracias. I do not know in what other language I should say it, but please accept my heartfelt gratitude. I trust that God will reward you one day, perhaps through your children, or even through your grandchildren.
It has been a true pleasure for me to share these sincere words with you from the depths of my soul. May the Lord make His face shine upon you, keep you, bless you, and grant you His peace.
With heartfelt gratitude!
