Impact Missions Giving Thanks for a Year of Service

-by Cadance Tyler

One of my favorite things about the autumn season is when the air grows a bit colder and the world begins to settle in for the winter season. There’s nothing better than an evening huddled around a firepit with friends or spending a foggy morning with a cup of coffee and your Bible. Before we make goals for the year ahead, November is a time to pause and reflect.

As we think about 2026, it’s important to spend time giving thanks. We often think that our blessings must be huge milestones and major celebrations. You may have had a year of big change and excitement, but even if you didn’t, look around at all that God has done in your life and in those around you.

Colossians 3:17 states: “And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.” This passage is a reminder that gratitude can come from both our milestones and our ordinary experiences. We can praise God for peace during difficult times, for evenings spent with family, and for daily provision.

Impact Missions has much to be grateful for this year. We give thanks for the many volunteers and churches who have served alongside us and supported our mission. We are grateful for our international partners, for churches who are feeding their hungry neighbors, and for those who are answering the call during disasters. We see God’s provision in the twenty-four completed projects at Impact Mission Camps and in the ways that we were able to equip churches to be missional in their communities.

Impact Missions strives to connect individuals and churches as they seek to serve Christ and thrive as disciples. We are grateful for your support, and we invite you to continue being part of what God is doing through Impact Missions. If you are looking for a way to make a difference as 2026 comes to an end, consider making a gift to Impact Missions. Together, we can continue to serve our neighbors and share the love of Christ.
