Impact Mission Camps 2023 | New Requirement

Impact Mission camps registration is open for 2023 – churches can register for camp in Roanoke, Mecklenburg, Louisa, and Danville and spend a week serving Christ in community with other Christian youth. New this year, all churches will need to certify that their adults have received child abuse prevention training. Churches can accept training adults have received as scout leaders, coaches, teachers, or other child-serving organizations. Churches who register for Impact camp can also receive Darkness to Light’s Stewards of Children training at no cost. Stewards of Children is a nationally recognized training for recognition and prevention of child sexual abuse. Access to the training is included in your Impact registration (normally $100-200 per group session). Contact Glenn Maddox for more information about camp.

Impact Mission Camps are looking for summer staff to serve approximately 5 weeks this summer, leading worship, coordinating camp activities, and modeling faith and service for campers. All living expenses are covered during the summer, and staff receive a $2500 stipend for serving. It’s a great opportunity to get internship credit as well.
