Storms over the February 15 weekend brought historic flooding to Kentucky and several other states, including Virginia. Buchanan County, where BGAV disaster response has responded after two previous storms, again experienced floods and power outages. With a winter storm forecast this week, most areas are not able to mobilize a response until we know the impact of that storm.
Impact Disaster Response is in communication with emergency management, local leaders, and partners in other states about how we can help once there has been time to evaluate the situation. Follow updates here and on social media.
