Disaster Response CALLOUT – Flooding in Southwest Virginia

Impact Disaster Response continues to respond to multiple flooding events in Southwest Virginia and is issuing a CALLOUT for cleanup, rebuild, and crisis care volunteers, along with volunteers to feed teams on-site.

Impact Missions hosted Impact Mission Camps in Damascus July 13-19, continuing work at 14 sites that had been identified as part of the Hurricane Helen response. We were able to complete repairs to several homes but still have work to complete, and we need your help to do it! As camp was ending, we also had reports of flooding in two Virginia communities, which will require cleanup and rebuild work through Disaster Response. We are currently seeking CLEANUP, CONSTRUCTION, and CRISIS CARE volunteers to serve in three ways:

Complete rebuild operations in Damascus (Hurricane Helene).

Support rebuild operations in Grundy (February floods).

Support cleanup in Dante (Flooded July 18).

You can register below – indicate on the form where you able to serve.
