Storms over the February 15 weekend brought historic flooding to Kentucky and several other states, including Virginia. Buchanan County, where BGAV disaster response has responded after two previous storms, again experienced floods and power outages. After the winter storm the following week, assessments have begun, and we have a better sense of the scope of need.
Impact Disaster Response is deploying teams to serve in cleanup in Hurley and surrounding localities. We will share updates here and on social media.
