Equipping Disciples to Transform Communities

In today’s rapidly changing cultural landscape, traditional church-centered outreach strategies are no longer enough to connect with the growing number of unchurched individuals and families in our communities. The days of “If we build it, they will come” are behind us.

Our Community Missions initiative invites pastors and lay leaders to reimagine how the local church engages its neighborhood. By leveraging tools like Asset-Based Community Development, rethinking familiar programs, and exploring innovative approaches to building Christ-centered relationships beyond the sanctuary, our team equips churches to become active, compassionate participants in the lives of those who may never walk through the doors on a Sunday morning—but who deeply need the hope and healing of Jesus.

We can help congregations

develop intentional discipleship pathways and meaningful outreach strategies that empower believers to connect authentically with their communities, growing God’s kingdom in everyday spaces while continuing to meet the needs of those who actively participate in more traditional expressions of church life.

We are developing tools to help:

  • Bridge the gap between traditional church life and community-based ministry.
  • Find a network of support with others pursuing similar missional goals.
  • Offer training and resources for effective ministry outside the sanctuary.
  • Understand Asset-Based Community Development to identify and leverage community and congregational strengths and potential partnerships.
  • Reimagine building disciples inside and outside the building through sustainable community engagement.
  • Make missional living in everyday spaces part of what it means to be a follower of Jesus.
