4:7 Care Boxes for Ukraine | Update

From Otniel Bunaciu in Bucharest, Romania: “Thank you, BGAV, for the help so far in distributing aid to Ukraine via the 4:7 Care Boxes program. With your substantial help (1730 boxes) and with the help of EBF (1240 boxes) and other partners we were able to send a total of 5750 boxes since May, 1st. As you can imagine this was a huge undertaking as each box weighs 17 kg. Just packing and loading the boxes was big task for a small team. Without your contribution we would not have been able to afford such an excellent project.”

We, too, want to thank all who have contributed generally toward our response to the Ukraine crisis, and specifically toward our support of Project Ruth’s relief initiative. Our Baptist friends in Bucharest already have a relationship with the Baptist churches in and around Odessa, Ukraine, so that has been a perfect platform for helping in an organized and effective way. Project Ruth delivers the 4:7 Boxes to coordinators in that area, especially in the city of Izmail. From there, the boxes go to churches that are housing and supporting refugees from the war.

BGAV has committed to support the packing and distribution of the relief boxes at least through the end of March. Please continue giving generously to Impact Missions, so that we can make a difference for Christ at home and around the world.
