When floodwaters rose in South Carolina in late September, water found its way into places homeowners did not know was possible. The thousand-year flood, as it was deemed, left millions of dollars in damage, and left families stuck with the significant task of cleaning up.
The Dorsey family was one such family. This is their story.
Over five weeks this fall, more than 50 Virginia Baptist Disaster Response volunteers served in South Carolina, helping families like the Dorseys clean up their homes.
